Let's Move Off of the Bridge

Thank God for salvation! Salvation transfers us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God. Salvation is like a bridge from one kingdom to another.
One major problem among Christians, due mainly to lack of proper spiritual teaching from Christian leaders, is that multitudes of people who have been born again are permanently camping out on the bridge. By staying on the bridge no Christian will ever fulfill our Lord Jesus' purpose for them on earth.

There is a reason that Scripture says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. (Matthew 6:33) Let's pack up and move on into the wonderful kingdom of God, bringing glory to God and becoming partakers of our inheritance in Christ Jesus.

Baptized by a Minister, but Not by Jesus

Up to this time when someone in the United States has been born again, most if not all have allowed a minister to baptize them with some form of water baptism, but few of those ministers and those they baptize have allowed Jesus to baptize them in the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3: 11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."

Mark 1: 8 "I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

Luke 3: 16 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandals I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

John 1: 33 “I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit."

You will be wasting your time and hindering your opportunity to be baptized by Jesus if you ask a minister that has not been baptized in the Spirit questions about being baptized by Jesus.

Enlarging Our Vision

At approximately 1 AM Thursday morning the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me about the need for Christians to begin seeking out and focusing on Scriptures that reveal what the Lord Jesus Christ wants to take place, specifically with the body of Christ. For many Christians this will take a renewing of the mind, but will be well worth it.

It is true that all Christians need certain parts of Scripture for personal encouragement as well as for assurance that our legitimate personal needs will be met. But the Spirit emphasized that we must enlarge our vision and look beyond ourselves.

Jesus definitely cares for our individual needs, but wants us to cast those cares on Him and become focused on things beyond ourselves. In seeking first the kingdom of God and working to help build and unite the one body of Christ, we would be working in harmony with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit said that in doing so we would be positioning ourselves for our personal needs to have a better opportunity of being met. This would not be our prime motive for doing so, but would be a by-product of being about the Father’s business.

Let’s enlarge our vision! Let’s truly deny self and take up our cross and together follow the Lord Jesus Christ and cooperate and work with His Spirit to bring God’s kingdom and will on earth. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Deep Trouble

What is really needed by professional football is the truth of Jesus Christ and His kingdom. There are too many owners, players, sports writers and fans that don't know Jesus or are very immature in their relationship with Him and their knowledge of His word. This vacuum leaves too much room for Marxist/Socialist/Communist and atheistic influences that are making things worse rather than solving any real problems in our country.

The real heart of the problem is the immaturity of most Christians in America starting with those in the pulpit. The real need of the hour is truth coming from true and mature ministers that will wake up the church to be true salt and light to our nation and beyond.  Any other alternative is not going to be very pleasant! If the ministers on early Sunday morning TV are any indication of things, we are in some deep trouble!

Two Major Erroneous Teachings about the Last Days

Two Major Erroneous Teachings about the Last Days

Jesus will return because things get worse and worse on earth.

The church will fully establish the kingdom of God on earth before Jesus returns.

My Loyalties are with Jesus Christ and America

I met with a group last night that Pledged Allegiance to our Flag (Our Republic). It was never more special and meaningful! I will attend another meeting today and we will also Pledge our Allegiance.

My heart is troubled because there is so little discernment among Christians with the main reason being that there is so little discernment among their preachers!  There are way too many strongholds controlling the minds of way too many preachers while Satan and his forces-both demonic and human-are working to stop Christian freedom and to destroy our Republic.

Preachers, we better wake up! We represent Jesus and His word and have no right to personal opinions that are not in line with Him and His word rightly divided. We have a great and grave responsibility and will give an account of how we use that responsibility.

I don't use or like language like the President used recently, and I don't like how the Socialist/Marxist/Progressives are using it for their purposes of deceiving people and destroying our country.  I don’t like how some preachers are helping them by what they say or don’t say! All too often it is the blind leading the blind.

This thing is much, much more than about President Trump's language which I am opposed to regardless of who uses it, including football players. This thing is way deeper than most discern.

The meaning of our President's statement which could and should have been done without the language is "you are off the team if you disrespect our beloved Republic".

In this matter, my prayer is that all people will stop using this kind of language and all people, including those participating, will wake up and see what is at the root of this disrespectful action toward our beloved Republic. It is very deep! It and the reaction to the President's poor choice of words are rooted in more than meets the eye.

Strong Words of Truth versus Strong Lies

Leftist preachers, politicians, educators, judges, lawyers, entertainers, athletes, business people, etc. and their media are speaking strong lies that are having devastating results on our country. We need true and mature ministers that will speak strong words of truth that will overcome their lies and free the minds and hearts of Americans.

God's Words of Truth Versus the Opinions of Men and Women

There is much difference between true words of God spoken by true prophets of God and much of what is often called prophetic teachings, especially end time prophetic teachings, which for the most part are the opinions of men and women.
It is interesting that parts of modern Christianity such as many of the Baptist just eat up end time’s prophetic teachings while denying that true prophets of God even exist. What a mess!

Followers (Disciples) of Jesus are Students of the Word

Only true and mature disciples of Jesus can lead the way to the much needed restoration of the church. No one can become a disciple unless they forsake all to follow Jesus and no one can become a mature disciple without being a student of the word.

To understand being a student of the word one must differentiate between being sanctified by God’s truth (John 17:17) and being sanctified by the doctrines of man. At present modern Christianity, especially in America, is dominated by those who are sanctified (set apart) by the doctrines of man. There are few that as of yet are answers to the prayer of Jesus in John 17:17. Will you be one of the few?

The few must see the need for a faithful remnant and give their lives to following Jesus and shouting the truth from the housetops as it were. Count the cost because you will be rejected and suffer persecution. You will be rejected by friend and foe. You will suffer persecution! The persecution will not only come from foes of Jesus but from some family members and from many in modern Christianity.

Count the cost of forsaking all to follow Jesus, but get to work in the harvest fields that are white for harvest. Jesus is counting on you!

Political Joaning and Trash Talking

Political Joaning and Trash Talking

Some athletes are very good at joaning and trash talking. Their purpose is to get an advantage over and ultimately defeat their opponents by distracting them from their game.  At present progressives (socialist, communist, and atheist) are using political joaning and other distractions to get conservatives and Christians off of their game. Regretfully, many Christians and conservatives are falling for it and allowing the progressives to not only set the set the agenda, but to advance their cause.

The Spirit of the Lord is looking for people that He can lead to victory. He is looking for people that will get focused on His agenda and will not be distracted by the wiles of the devil. The future of our country and Christian freedom are at stake. The battle is more intense now than it has ever been. Don’t become complacent because of a few victories. Satan and his followers, demonic and human, will not give up until Jesus returns and brings judgment. The battle is always ongoing! The question is, will we engage in victorious battle or will we get distracted and experience unnecessary defeats?

Restoring the Church One Disciple at a Time

I first posted this message on February 13, 2015. I believe with all my heart that the Holy Spirit inspired and helped write it. I pray that He will give you revelation and understanding.

Colossians 2: 8 Beware lest anyone plunder you or take you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Doctrine: something taught, teachings.

Tradition: The handing down from generation to generation teachings, beliefs and customs.

Modern Christianity is in dire need of spiritual restoration. Most parts of the church of our day are infected to some degree with the doctrines and traditions of man that at some point in the past have replaced the truth of God’s word. Over time these lies, deceptions, fables and vain philosophies of man have become entrenched in various parts of modern Christianity. The results of which are numerous and have for the most part produced a weak and divided church which goes through the motions that keep their attendees happy while the world around them grows darker and darker. The only answer is true spiritual restoration!

No part of the church can be fully restored until its doctrines and traditions are completely in line with the word of God rightly divided. Are you willing to be sanctified by truth, the truth of God’s word, that will make you one with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and with fellow disciples who desire the same (John 17: 17-21)?

I am looking for Christians that want to forsake all and follow Jesus so much that they will not only shake themselves free from the things of the world, but more importantly from the doctrines and traditions of man that have captivated an untold number of Christians. Let’s demonstrate what can be done by those who fully surrender to the Holy Spirit and join in true agreement with others of like mind and spirit. Let’s do our part in righting the world for Jesus! The cost will be great; the world and many in modern Christianity will shun you, but the rewards will be greater.

Will you be one that will yield all to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to sanctify and cleanse you with the washing of the water by the word (Ephesians 5: 26, 27)? All to the glory of Jesus Christ!

A Call to Prayer

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (John 14:14).

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. (Mark 11:23)

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority (a prominent place) that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence (dignity). (1Timothy 2:1, 2)

All things are possible if we have faith and will pray according to the will of God. There is a time to ask and there is a time to speak declarations to the mountains. I have asked and seen miracles; I have spoken and seen leaders removed from office.

The Spirit of Jesus is calling for individual and corporate prayer. Will you dedicate yourself to making prayers, supplications, intercessions and giving of thanks? Will you as the Spirit leads speak to mountains and see them cast in the sea?

Let’s take up the sword of the Spirit and use it in making request and in making declarations. Those given to prayer must do both. If you will submit to the Spirit He will teach you how to use the Sword of the Spirit; He will teach you when to ask and when to say. Jesus will respond and miracles will occur and mountains will be removed.

The Whole Counsel of God

It is the middle of the night and I have been studying the word of God.

The Whole Counsel of God

There is a world of difference in ministers studying the whole counsel of God (Acts 20: 27) to show themselves approved so that they can properly equip the saints and false ministers (Matthew 7:15) and immature ministers (Hebrews 5:12, 13) that search the Bible to find Scriptures that they can use to further their political agendas.

There is a world of difference in true and mature ministers of Jesus Christ that preach and teach the whole counsel of God and false prophets and/or immature ministers that use Scripture out of proper context to persuade people to follow and accomplish their agendas which are often political.

True and mature ministers preach and teach the whole counsel of God so that Christians are sanctified by truth and properly equipped for the work of the ministry and the building up of the body of Christ.

False prophets and regretfully some immature ministers use Scriptures out of context to accomplish their agendas. At present many are using Scriptures out of context to accomplish their political agendas.

Watch Out For False Prophets

In Matthew 7: 15, 16 Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets; He said that they would come in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly would be ferocious wolves and by their fruit we would recognize them.

In Matthew 24: 24 Jesus warns us that false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
In 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15 the Spirit of Jesus through the Apostle Paul warns us about false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves in to ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Listen, my fellow Christians! Satan is fast at work; on one hand he is killing, stealing and working through evil people in a way that is obvious to the natural eye. But on the other hand, he is using deceit and deception like he did with Eve. It takes spiritual discernment to recognize those mentioned in the Scriptures above.  Those mentioned above include ministers that are working right now in churches that are supposed to be Christian churches. They will often emphasize love, grace and mercy but it is not the true love, grace and mercy of Jesus and His word. Can you recognize them? Many cannot because they do not have spiritual discernment! Do you want to recognize them!
I pass on to you the warnings that Jesus and Paul gave us. I beseech you to ask the Lord Jesus for spiritual discernment and I encourage you to study Scripture under the teaching of the Holy Spirit so that you can have your senses trained to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5: 14).
Can you recognize false prophets? They are scattered throughout modern Christianity! They don’t wear outward signs that say they are false prophets, but they can be recognized if one has spiritual discernment. One of the gifts of the Spirit is discerning of spirits. This gift is definitely needed in our time and day and every true Christian needs to have their senses trained to discern both good and evil so that they are not among the elect that are in danger of being deceived. Selah!

The Need for the Power of the Holy Spirit

Satan fears a church with the real power of God! Up to now he has managed by deception to keep the majority of Christians from receiving the true baptism in the Spirit with the results that most Christians are not endued with the necessary power from on high. One tactic that has proven successful for him among many Christians is the development of the language of being Spirit filled along with the elimination of the gifts of the Spirit which limits or takes away the feared power. Another tactic that he has used is to cause some who have been baptized in the Spirit to move out of order and be distractive as well as be an instrument to turn people off to the things of the Spirit.

Jesus needs the church that He is building to have the power of the Holy Spirit, therefore every born again Christian needs the baptism in the Spirit. It was so important to Jesus for His disciples to have the power of the Spirit that He told them to wait in Jerusalem until they received the baptism in the Spirit without which they would not have the power of God to accomplish His purposes. They were not to try to fulfill the "Great Commission" without first receiving the baptism in the Spirit!

Lord Jesus, Give us apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers that are mature and will equip the saints as You want them equipped. Speak to every true minister and tell them to wait until they have received the true baptism in the Spirit and then to make sure that their church members also receive. Thank You!
