Prophetic Words of Restoration (October 2011)

Our country is in dire trouble and we really need our Lord's help, guidance and intervention. The Lord wants and needs His people to be salt and light and He will heal our land. Thank God for faithful disciples! (10/31/2011)

Declaration: The Bible contains the truth of God and His will for me. I hide God’s truth in my mind and heart and meditate on it day and night. Spiritual Questions

1. Why does Jesus want all people to be born again?

a. It is not his will that any should perish (2 Peter 3: 9).

b. He wants all to be part of the family of God.

c. Being born from above restores one to God.

2. Why does Jesus want to baptize all Christians in the Holy Spirit?

a. He wants all Christians to be united with each other (John 17).

b. He wants His spiritual body to carry on His work on earth until He returns (John 14: 12).

3. Why are many Christians not baptized in the Holy Spirit?

a. Lack of knowledge (Hosea 4: 6).

b. False teaching (2 Peter 2: 1-3).

c. Traditions of men (Matthew 15: 6; 1 Peter 1: 16).

4. Why are many Christians who have been baptized in the Spirit not receiving and experiencing the benefits of being baptized in the Spirit?

a. They are not willing to yield their body and soul to the Holy Spirit.

b. Romans 12: 1, 2.

5. Why are many Christians who have been baptized in the Spirit not doing the works that Jesus did?

a. They do not desire to follow Jesus enough to deny self and take up their cross daily and step out in faithful obedience.

b. Luke 9:23.

Declaration

The Bible contains the truth of God and His will for me. I will hide His truth in my mind and heart and meditate on it day and night. As a disciple who has denied self, forsaken all and taken up my cross to follow Jesus daily I will be a witness of Jesus and His kingdom who both speaks and acts on His truth. (9/21/2011)

Our message this morning is titled “The Church and Divine Healing.” If received, believed and acted on this message will help stir up each Christian to believe that they can be part of helping to fulfill all parts of what we call the “Great Commission.” (9/21/2011)

PRINCIPLE OF THE WORD:

The Word of God must be proclaimed, heard with attentive spiritual ears, received with joy, believed and acted on with loving obedience. (9/14/2011)

Faithful Christian citizens are remembering and praying today! They are not only remembering and praying; they are praying in the name of Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless His people and May we live in "The Way" that allows Him to heal our land.

Father, we humble ourselves, repent and seek You. Let Your Spirit form Christ within each of us and let us together fulfill Your will and purposes for your people. Thank You for our nation! Restore us and use us to restore this nation to You by being true salt and light. Comfort the broken hearted with Your loving kindness and tender mercies. In Jesus Name! Thank You, Amen. (9/11/2011)

There is no question that this is the Lord's Day. The question is: Do we belong to the Lord Jesus completely (hook, line and sinker)? Are we daily fulfilling Luke 9:23 and Luke 14: 27, 33? (9/6/2011)
