We Need Restoration of the Church

God built His Garden of Eden for His people and the devil entered. Jesus Christ started building His Church and the devil entered. God had a plan after the fall in the Garden of Eden; Jesus Christ has no other plan than His Church. What are we to do? We are to recognize that the Church is in need of restoration, and we are to yield to the Holy Spirit to be used of Him to bring about that restoration. Let’s get the car out of the ditch, make the necessary repairs and get back in the race.

We can learn from the attack in the Garden of Eden. The devil through the serpent misused the Word of God, and took advantage of Eve’s desires. He in turn used Eve to cause Adam to sin. The devil is still using these tactics. He changes the Word of God and he takes advantage of the desires of people. He uses people to cause other people to sin.

It is difficult to help people wake up from their spiritual slumber unless they are humble and teachable. God sends voices crying in the wilderness, but many will not hear. Devastation comes and still many will not hear. One problem in the Church is almost everybody thinks they know the Bible. They will say things like I go to church; I read the Bible too, and my opinion is as good as anybody else’s. It is often a mixture of pride, deception, stubbornness and even rebellion. People who hide behind being very loving will surprise you when the right button is pushed.

I am crying out for restoration, and warning of approaching devastation unless restoration takes place. There will be godly restoration or there will be unimaginable devilish storms. Don’t think that you and your loved ones will somehow be exempt! Young people often foolishly think that they are invulnerable; many Christians especially in the United States think the same. Why would God take His people out of something they have helped create by not being true and mature salt and light? Why would professing Christians in the United States be exempt from what other Christians are already experiencing just because they are in the United States? Wake up and get serious!

Regretfully, many Christians are following ministers that do not have a clue. These Christians do not study all of the Word enough to know the truth. They, like Eve, have some desires that are getting in the way of hearing and obeying truth. They are not only making excuses for their desires; they are misusing the love and grace of God. They will not be set free until they are humble and repentant. They need restoration before they can help bring restoration. Restoration begins with true humility and real godly sorrow that leads to true and lasting repentance.

It grieves me to see professing Christians misuse words like messy, violent, etc. to justify things that are not in line with Scripture rightly divided. True ministers of God are not called to share opinions with you or anyone; they are called to minister truth. They are called to be faithful to the One who called them, and they will love you but they will not compromise truth. We need a purging in the pulpit and the pews. A well known minister said that a friend of his decided to only preach truth and the result was that his Church almost emptied out. Thousands became few. Hopefully those people will wake up eventually, but true ministers must preach only truth and never look at the faces of people. God Himself will confound those who are controlled by the faces of the people.

God wants restoration for this generation that helps future generations; the devil wants to destroy and/or put in bondage you, your children and your grandchildren. The time is short and the window for preventing certain storms closes a little each day. Does anyone hear? Does anyone want to hear?

Pastor Wayne, I have found that most people do not want to hear the truth. They only want their ears tickled, follow dead traditions and not follow Christ. We must humble ourselves and follow Christ. If we would only read his word for ourselves, we will find out what humility and serving others mean. Often, we want to be served instead of serving. Please keep telling the truth, we need more of it. I continue to pray for this nation and the church. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Sincerely,

deaconc

Hi deaconc,

It just shows how much the Church needs to be restored, doesn't it? If professing Christians will really start studying all of the Bible without reading their preconceived notions into it, truth will be known. It will set them free to be what God wants them to be. There is nothing greater we can do than pray.

Soon there will be a revised form of Give No Place to the Devil. We changed a couple of paragraphs, let me know what you think. God bless you.

In Christ,

Wayne Wilson

I just wanted to say that I agree with what you guys are saying. It's time to take a stand for Christ. Acts 2:38 says that we must repent and be baptized in Jesus name and then we are able to recieve the HOLY GHOST. Nowadays people want to take short-cuts but the Bible says the way of the righteous is narrow, meaning we can't sway to the left or the right but we must stay focused on Jesus and we must stay in constant prayer, as well as fasting if we want to go back with Him when He comes!!!!!!!!!!
