Misuse of Scripture

Scripture is often misused and misinterpreted to deceive people who do not study all of the Word to show themselves approved.

Matthew 7:1 about judging is a prime example. Another prime example that is being misused and misinterpreted is the parable of the wheat and the tares (Matthew 13:24-30). All a false teacher has to do is change the biblical meaning of the field, and a door is opened to pour in other devilish deceptions. Ask the Holy Spirit to free your mind and heart and give you truth. Prayerfully study the parable and the parable explained until you know truth, and then you will be set free about that one.

Another big time misuse of Scripture is the Day of Pentecost. Oh, how the devil and his ministers disguised as ministers of righteousness have deceived so many with this one. Change the thing that the disciples were doing as a result of being baptized in the Spirit, and there is no limit to what the devil can send. Isn't it interesting that the devil has deceived so many professing Christians about the baptism in the Holy Spirit? He has deceived many to say it is no longer for today; he has deceived many about tongues in more than one way; and he has deceived many about why some said that the disciples were drunk.

When you stand before Jesus, the fair and balanced ideas are not going to stand the test. He is going to judge by the Word and His right interpretation of the Word. Really, once and for all, get this thing straight about those who will say, "Lord, Lord, didn't we ..."

Do you realize what has been done to the Constitution of the United States? One little change here and there and satanic flood gates have been opened. The devil has only had a little over 200 years to work on changing it. He has had approximately 2,000 years to work on changing the Bible. It does not take much to make devilish changes; look at the Garden of Eden. The devil did not stop at the Garden; he has always sought ways to attack and defeat God’s purposes. Soon after the birth of the Church, he started his attacks, which include infiltration into the ranks of the Church with his ministers and his interpretations of Scripture.

We are in a war! Let's not be on the wrong side while we think we are on the right side. The devil will eventually be put away, but he is our present adversary, and he works in a lot of ways to capture people. He gets some with voodoo and satanic worship, and he gets some by using his ministers in the Christian Church. They use the Bible and talk about Jesus, but they are there to lead people astray. He takes other ministers, who actually may have been called of God, and gets them off track so that they can lead others astray.

It is not hopeless, but anyone who is not totally sold out to God is a candidate for deception. Anyone who does not have an intimate abiding in Jesus Christ and a thorough knowledge of His Word without reading their preconceived, private interpretations
into it is going to be led astray to some degree. The devil is willing to work his plan over a long period of time. He infiltrates and lays the ground work a little at a time for what he is doing in the minds and hearts of people. He finally has them so hooked that they will blindly defend and make excuses for what he is doing.

It is time to wake up! The time is short! There will be godly restoration or unimaginable devilish storms.
