Truth about You and the Holy Spirit

One cannot be born again without the Holy Spirit. One cannot move in one or more of the nine gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 8-10) without the baptism in the Spirit. If a person is born again by the Spirit but not moving in one or more of the nine gifts of the Spirit, then they have either not been anointed with the Holy Spirit and power that comes with the baptism in the Spirit or they are untaught about the gifts of the Spirit. In either case they are a powerless Christian unable to follow Jesus in carrying on the works that He did while on earth (John 14: 12-18).

One of the main reasons that evil is making advances all around us is that most of the church is powerless to resist (James 4:7). If you find that you are powerless to cast out demons and lay hands on the sick (Matthew 10:8), don’t fall for the lie that it is not for today. Instead call on the Lord Jesus who baptizes in the Spirit (Matthew 3:11) and wait until you receive the promise of the Father (Luke 24:49, Acts 1: 4, 8). The Lord Jesus is waiting for you to call and ask (John 14:13-14). He wants you to be able to say what He said in Luke 4:18 and He wants others to say about you that you are one that is anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power and is going about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for God is with you.
