The Third Wave

Alan, I am aware of what is called The Third Wave.  We don’t need waves of any number! Jesus wants a continuous work of the Holy Spirit in and through His church; He promises the power of the Holy Spirit to all of His followers.

There is and has been both lack and excess in parts of the church because many, if not most, Christians are not and have not been sanctified by truth. The love, truth and power of God are all at work in mature believers. Love and truth are safeguards against both lack and excess of God’s power.

By lack I mean that the power of God is quenched. By excess I mean that man’s flesh gets involved and man becomes subject to the satanic. Excess took place in Florida a few years ago; prior to that it took place in Canada. Untaught Christians flocked from all over the earth to something that was not controlled by the Holy Spirit. But the overall truth is that lack and excess are taking place throughout most parts of the church every day, especially in the churches located in the United States.

I am looking for the real! The restored church will continuously move in the love, truth and power of God! All to the glory of Jesus Christ and none to the glory of man!
